Yoshida says, truthfully enough, that Sony has already had a massive year in terms of major announcements- over E3, Tokyo Game Show, and Paris Games Week, Sony announced The Last Guardian, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Final Fantasy VII, Shenmue 3, Detroit: Zero Dawn, Gravity Rush 2, and Gran Turismo Sport, just to name a few. Sony said, then, that the plan was always to focus on smaller games at PlayStation Experience, rather than the bigger titles.
